M8G Structural Firefighting Gloves – Gauntlet
The M8G Structural Glove by Majestic Fire Apparel is built for the rigors of the fireground, combining heavy-duty USA Cow Split Leather with an extended 3” gauntlet cuff. Designed for firefighters who prefer a traditional cuff interface, the M8G ensures a secure seal with your turnout coat to prevent debris, embers, and liquids from entering the glove.
Engineered with a 3D curved, ergonomic fit, these gloves reduce hand fatigue and provide a broken-in feel from the very first wear. The water-repellent leather remains soft and pliable even after repeated soak-and-dry cycles, ensuring you maintain a reliable grip when it matters most.

Rugged Protection & Performance
- Industrial-Grade Leather: USA Cow Split leather provides excellent abrasion resistance and thermal shielding.
- Superior Dexterity: The 3D ergonomic design follows the natural contour of your hand, allowing for better tool manipulation and reduced grip strain.
- Advanced Debris Shield: The wide gauntlet cuff allows for easy donning and provides an extra layer of protection against falling embers and hot liquids.
- Anti-Pullout Technology: The Kovenex® liner is securely bonded and sewn into the fingertips, preventing the liner from pulling out during doffing—even when hands are wet.
- Moisture Management: The Porelle® barrier keeps hands dry while allowing heat vapor to escape, reducing the risk of steam burns.
Care & Maintenance (NFPA 1851)
Protect your investment and your safety by following NFPA 1851 care standards:
- Cleaning: Hand wash with a mild detergent (pH 6.0–10.5). Do not use bleach or oxidizing agents.
- Drying: Air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. NEVER use high heat or direct sunlight for drying, as this will cause the leather to shrink and become brittle.
- Inspection: Inspect for cuts, seam failures, or thermal damage after every structural fire.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
NFPA 1970-2025: These gloves are UL Certified to meet the latest NFPA 1970 standards for Structural and Proximity Firefighting.
PFAS Compliance Statement: Majestic Fire Apparel complies with the Restricted Substances List (RSL) and current environmental standards regarding PFAS in firefighting gear.
STRUCTURAL AND PROXIMITY GLOVES: This glove is intended for structural firefighting and provides limited protection. It will NOT protect you from all conditions. Improper use or maintenance can result in serious injury or death.
