Care & Maintenance (NFPA 1851)

Protect your investment and your safety by following NFPA 1851 care standards:

• Cleaning: Hand wash with a mild detergent (pH 6.0–10.5). Do not use bleach or oxidizing agents.
• Drying: Air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. NEVER use high heat or direct sunlight for drying, as this will cause the leather to shrink and become brittle.
• Inspection: Inspect for cuts, seam failures, or thermal damage after every structural fire.
